Singapore 2017 – Day 2: Universal Studios and What Not to Miss

Day 2 of our Singapore 2017 getaway was intended for Universal Studios Singapore. Universal Studios Singapore is located at Resorts World, Sentosa Island. To go there you just need to take a train going to HarbourFront Station, take Exit E going to Vivo City and proceed to Level 3. From there, purchase your Sentosa Express tickets for SGD5 each, board the express, and alight at Waterfront Station (first stop from Vivo City). You can actually walk via the Sentosa Board Walk, however it would take you around 20-30 minutes to get to Waterfront Station. Since we want to save our time, we just rode the Sentosa Express. From Waterfront Station just…

Singapore 2017 – Day 1: Little India, Chinatown, Marina Bay, Arab Street, and Bugis

It’s a wrap! Our Family Trip for this year to Singapore has just ended last March 31 and I’m currently having sepanx cause it’s going to be another long time that we’ll be complete together again. Anyways, we booked our air tickets last year around September during Cebu Pacific seat sale. Our round-trip ticket costs PHP 7500 each via Cebu for 4 days and 3 nights. We did not hire any travel agencies for our itinerary, instead we just researched itineraries from different travel websites and blogs, and asked for some tips from friends who already visited the country. So I’ll be dividing this blog posts per day of our…

Where to Eat: Tablea Chocolate Cafe

This is just a quick post about a new cafe that I just recently tried; a cafe which was introduced to me by my brother. If you know me well, you know how much I love eating cakes. It’s just one of my comfort food whenever I’m having some mood swings, when I’m burned out, and especially during PMS. So I searched for some dessert parlors nearby our apartment over the weekend because I was craving for a slice of cake to satisfy PMS days. My brother suggested that I should try out Tablea Chocolate Cafe at JY Square Mall (which is just a 5 min motorcycle ride from our apartment). I…

A Quick Holiday Escapade at Casa Blanca by the Sea

Hooray for a long weekend here in Cebu City! Friday, February 24, was declared a Holiday here in Cebu City to give way for the commemoration of the City’s 79th Charter Day. So because of that me and my officemates had a quick holiday escapade at a not-so-known resort in Olango Island, Lapu-Lapu City – Casa Blanca by the Sea. I have just recently discovered this resort on a post from Ella of WanderingElla, and was completely curious at how beautiful the place was after seeing photos of the resort. That’s why I suggested this place as we planned whereto. A day before we went to the resort, I called and inquired…

Osmeña Peak Traverse to Kawasan Falls

Hello everyone! As you can see, I have officially moved to a new domain (BIASAMBRANO.COM) because my previous domain (ROADBYBIA.COM) is expiring soon and I’ve decided to use my name as my new domain name. But still, this blog will continue to be titled as “Road By Bia”. Ever since I’ve first climbed Osmeña Peak, I was so eager to have another trekking experience and explore the outdoors and the beauty of our country’s nature. A few weeks ago, my officemates planned to have an outing around south of Cebu. So, one of our officemates suggested that we do something new which is to trek from Osmeña Peak to Kawasan.…
